Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions
1. Before embarking on the installation of your cutting-edge pressure reducing valve, ensure that the pipeline is thoroughly cleaned. Initiate a continuous purge of the gas to expertly eliminate all impurities and particles-such as iron filings-that may have been generated during pipeline cutting.
2. To maintain optimal system performance, install a high-quality filter upstream of the pressure reducing valve. Failure to do so can lead to damage of the seat by system particles, potentially causing internal regulator leakage, an increase in downstream pressure, and damage to the outlet pressure gauge or allied equipment. We recommend a filter element with a precision of no less than 20 microns for superior protection.
3. For a flawless NPT thread installation, avoid using thread glue or liquid raw material tape. Such materials can inadvertently lead to liquid intrusion into the valve filter, causing blockage. This may ultimately result in a lack of pressure at the valve port or an undesirably low flow rate.
4. While the system is in operation, adjust the handle clockwise to seamlessly increase the outlet pressure, or counterclockwise to effortlessly decrease it. When reducing the outlet pressure to zero, the valve handle should remain in a relaxed state. Beware that excessive counterclockwise adjustments could lead to thread jamming or loosen the handle, preventing further adjustments.
5. It is highly discouraged to utilize the pressure reducing valve as a globe valve over extended periods. This practice can lead to seat deformation, subsequently destabilizing the flow rate.
6. Exercise utmost caution when handling, particularly with pressure-reducing valves equipped with pressure gauges. As pressure gauges are delicate components, they are susceptible to damage from external forces or impacts.
