Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions
1. Prior to the installation of the pressure reducing valve, ensure the thorough cleaning of the pipeline. It is essential to continuously purge the gas to effectively eliminate impurities and particles, such as iron filings, which are generated during pipeline cutting.
2. A high-quality filter must be in place before the pressure reducing valve. Without it, system particles can inflict damage on the valve seat, leading to internal leakage, a rise in downstream pressure, and potential harm to the outlet pressure gauge or other equipment. It is advised to utilize a filter element with precision not less than 20 microns.
3. For NPT thread installation, refrain from using thread glue or liquid raw material tape. Improper application can cause liquid to flow into the valve filter, resulting in blockage. This can impede pressure at the valve port or significantly reduce the flow rate.
4. During flow, adjust the handle clockwise to augment outlet pressure and counterclockwise to diminish it. When reducing outlet pressure to zero, ensure the handle is in a relaxed state. Over-rotating counterclockwise could jam the threads or loosen the handle, hindering further adjustments.
5. Avoid using the reducing valve as a globe valve function over extended periods, as it may deform the seat, leading to an unstable flow rate.
6. Exercise utmost caution to prevent impacts, particularly on reducing valves equipped with pressure gauges. These gauges are delicate and susceptible to damage from external forces.
