1. How to install the ball valve?
A: (1) Ensure that the pipeline at the installation position is coaxial, and confirm that the pipeline can bear the weight of the ball valve itself. If it is found that the pipeline cannot bear the weight of the ball valve, the pipeline shall be equipped with corresponding support before installation.
(2) Confirm whether there are impurities, welding slag, etc. in the pipeline, and the pipeline must be purged clean.
(3) Check the marking of the ball valve, fully open and close the ball valve for several times to confirm that the valve can work normally, and then comprehensively check all the details of the valve to ensure that it is intact.
2. How to maintain the ball valve?
A:(1)Regular inspection of the wear and tear of valve body, sealing ring and valve stem is helpful to prevent potential leakage and failure.
(2)When the valve is not used for a long time, it should be lubricated and tested to keep it in good working condition.
(3)At the same time, it is suggested to make a regular maintenance plan according to the use environment and frequency to ensure the lasting and stable operation of the valve.
3. How to check whether the ball valve is installed well?
A:(1) After the installation, start the ball to open and close several times, which should be flexible and evenly stressed, and the ball valve works normally.
(2) According to the design requirements of pipeline pressure, test the sealing performance of the joint surface between the ball valve and the pipeline flange after the pressure is applied.
4. What are the precautions for maintaining ball valves?
A: (1) Only when the pressure before and after unloading can the ball valve be disassembled and disassembled.
(2) During the disassembly and reassembly of the ball valve, it is necessary to protect the sealed parts, especially non-metallic parts, such as O-rings, and it is best to use special tools.
(3) When reassembling the ball valve body, the bolts must be tightened symmetrically, gradually and evenly.
(4) The cleaning agent should be compatible with rubber parts, plastic parts, metal parts and working media (such as gas). When the working medium is gas, the metal parts can be cleaned with gasoline (GB484-89). Non-metallic parts are cleaned with pure water or alcohol.
(5) The decomposed individual parts can be washed by dipping. Metal parts with undecomposed nonmetallic parts can be scrubbed with clean silk cloth impregnated with cleaning agent (to prevent fibers from falling off and sticking to the parts). When cleaning, remove all grease, dirt, glue, dust, etc. adhered to the wall.
(6) Non-metallic parts shall be taken out of the cleaning agent immediately after cleaning, and shall not be soaked for a long time.
(7) After cleaning, it needs to be assembled after the wall cleaning agent is volatilized (it can be wiped with silk cloth that is not soaked with cleaning agent), but it must not be put on hold for a long time, otherwise it will rust and be polluted by dust.
(8) New parts should also be cleaned before assembly.
(9) Use grease for lubrication. Grease should be compatible with metal materials, rubber parts, plastic parts and working medium of ball valve. When the working medium is gas, for example, special 221 grease can be used. Apply a thin layer of grease on the surface of the installation groove of the seal, a thin layer of grease on the rubber seal, and a thin layer of grease on the sealing surface and friction surface of the valve stem.
(10) During assembly, metal chips, fibers, grease (except those specified for use), dust, other impurities and foreign bodies shall not be allowed to pollute, adhere to or stay on the surface of the parts or enter the inner cavity.
