Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions
1. Prior to installing the AFKLOK with VCR Connector Cylinder Joint Pressure Reducing Valve 60psi output regulator OEM, ensure the pipeline undergoes a thorough cleansing. Utilize continuous gas purging to effectively eliminate impurities and particles, such as iron filings, incurred during the pipeline cutting process.
2. It is imperative to install a filter upstream of the pressure reducing valve. Failure to do so may result in system particles compromising the seat, causing internal leakage, downstream pressure escalation, and potential damage to the outlet pressure gauge or other equipment. A meticulously designed filter element with a precision of no less than 20 microns is highly recommended.
3. For NPT thread installations, avoid using thread glue or liquid raw material belts. Improper use may inadvertently channel liquid into the valve filter, leading to blockages that can cause pressure loss or overly diminished flow rates at the valve port.
4. While the system is in a flowing state, adjust the handle clockwise to elevate the outlet pressure, and counterclockwise to lessen it. If the outlet pressure is reduced to zero, ensure the pressure reducing valve handle remains in a loose position. Excessively turning the handle counterclockwise can result in thread jamming or a loosened handle, restricting further adjustments.
5. The pressure reducing valve is not designed to function as a globe valve for extended periods. Prolonged misuse may deform the seat, leading to fluctuations in flow rate stability.
6. Exercise utmost caution while handling, particularly with reducing valves equipped with pressure gauges. These gauges are precision instruments, vulnerable to damage through external impacts.
