Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions
1. Prior to installing the pressure reducing valve, ensure a pristine pipeline by thoroughly cleaning and allowing the gas to flow continuously. This step is crucial to remove any impurities and particles, such as iron filings, that may have been produced during pipeline cutting.
2. To safeguard your system, install a filter upstream of the pressure reducing valve. Failing to do so can cause system particles to damage the valve's seat, leading to internal leaks, an increase in downstream pressure, and potential damage to the outlet pressure gauge or other equipment. It is advisable to utilize a filter element with a precision of no less than 20 microns.
3. When installing NPT threads, avoid using thread glue or liquid raw material tape, as improper application could result in liquid seeping into the valve filter, leading to blockages. This can cause the valve port to have no pressure or the flow rate to diminish significantly.
4. During fluid flow, turn the handle clockwise to augment the outlet pressure and counterclockwise to diminish it. When decreasing the outlet pressure to zero, ensure the valve handle remains in a relaxed state. Avoid excessive counterclockwise turns which may jam the threads or loosen the handle, preventing further adjustments.
5. Avoid using the reducing valve as a globe valve for extended periods, as this may deform the seat, resulting in an unstable flow rate.
6. Handle the valve with care to prevent any impact, especially those equipped with pressure gauges. Being sensitive components, pressure gauges are vulnerable to damage from external forces.
