Installation Instructions

Installation Instructions
1. Prior to the installation of the pressure reducing valve, it is imperative to cleanse the pipeline meticulously. Ensure the gas is continuously purged, allowing for the thorough elimination of impurities and particles, such as iron filings, which may have been generated during pipeline cutting.
2. It is essential to position a filter upstream of the pressure reducing valve. Failing to do so could lead to system particles inflicting damage on the seat, potentially causing internal regulator leakage and an unwanted increase in downstream pressure. This could also harm the outlet pressure gauge or other equipment. A filter element with a fine accuracy of at least 20 microns is recommended for optimum performance.
3. It is advised against using thread glue or liquid raw material belt for NPT thread installation. Incorrect application could cause the liquid to seep into the valve filter, resulting in blockage, causing a loss of pressure at the valve port, or significantly diminishing the flow rate.
4. When adjusting the flow, turn the handle in a clockwise direction to increase the outlet pressure and counterclockwise to decrease it. If the outlet pressure is lowered to zero, ensure the handle of the pressure reducing valve remains loose. Excessive counterclockwise rotation may result in a thread jam or cause the handle to become loose, making further adjustments impossible.
5. Using the reducing valve as a globe valve for extended periods is discouraged. Continuous use in this manner may deform the seat, leading to an unstable flow rate.
6. Exercise utmost care during handling to prevent any impact, particularly on reducing valves equipped with pressure gauges. These gauges are delicate instruments and can be easily damaged by external forces.
